EDUCATIONAL POLICY
Religious education is the foundation of Kobe College as exemplified in its motto: "Love thy God, love thy neighbor." In accordance with our motto, one of Kobe College's main objectives is to develop good character in its students. Other characteristics of education at this institution are the respect for students' individuality and independence, the acquisition of wide-ranging knowledge based on liberal arts education, and the training of well-educated women with a strong desire to serve society based on Christian principles.
SPIRIT OF KOBE COLLEGE
Matthew 22:37~39
"Love the Lord your God with all your heart,
with all your soul, and with all your mind."
That is the greatest, the first commandment.
The second is like it: "Love your neighbor as yourself."
WORSHIP SERVICES
Worship Services are the backbone of educational activities at Kobe College. Services at school are held to learn biblical truths and to provide a place where all may reflect on the best way to live our lives.
The educational emphasis is not only on obtaining knowledge but also on careful consideration of our futures. Under this educationl policy, religious services can be regarded as the center of life at Okadayama, where continuous efforts to build character are made by teachers, staff and students.
